We want to say thank you to all our hardworking volunteers, our sponsors, and the new & returning fans that come to our festival. The weather cooperated, and the ETA’s were fantastic, in their tributes to Elvis, as well as their other tributes. We had approximately 4500 people attend, and a good time was had by all.
Because of all of you, we are able to return in 2012 with yet another terrific show. We will still need your help to maintain, and continue this event in 2012 (especially with the weather).
We all took a much needed break, and are ready to get to work on the 2012 festival. It will be July 13th, & 14th, 2012.
We will be putting new information on the website as we get confirmations. So check back often. Since we are under our own management, we were also able to give our 2011 charities (Ypsilanti Meals on Wheels, and SOS Shelter) a donation of $1,000.00 each.
We couldn’t do this without your help. So thank you again.
On another note, for those of you who knew Patti Perry, who was the only woman in Elvis’ Memphis Mafia group, and was a good friend of Elvis for many many years. She passed away this month. She was an amazing woman, with some wonderful stories about her times with Elvis, and will certainly be greatly missed. “
